INCOTERMS® 2020 and the Relationship of Payment Methods with Delivery Methods
The training program organized by ICC Turkey National Committee, titled “INCOTERMS® 2020 and the Relationship of Payment Methods with Delivery Methods” was held online between 10.00 – 15.30, on April 27th, 2022. INCOTERMS® 2020 sets the universally standardized and globally accepted rules for the sale of goods used in international trade by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
INCOTERMS® 2020 training was given by Prof. Dr. H. Ercüment Erdem, Chair of the ICC Commission on Commercial Law and Practices, who is the only accredited INCOTERMS® 2020 trainer in Turkey. The second session on payment methods was given by Abdurrahman Özalp, Chair of the ICC Turkey National Committee Banking Commission.
In the training, Prof. Dr. H. Ercüment Erdem presented the scope of INCOTERMS®, the changes introduced in INCOTERMS® 2020, and the reasons for the revisions made in INCOTERMS 2020. Meanwhile Abdurrahman Özalp explained the relationship between payment methods and delivery methods.
