Deadline regarding Message Management System is approaching
The deadline for the service providers who are in the scope of the Law No. 6563 on Regulation of Electronic Commerce and the Regulation on Commercial Communication and Commercial Electronic Messages (“Service Provider”), to register with the Message Management System and to upload previously collected opt-in consents of commercial message recipients (“Recipient”), is 31.08.2020.
Accordingly, natural and legal person Service Providers who send commercial messages by calling, messaging, e-mailing etc. with the aim to promote or commercialize his/her goods and services or expend recognition of his/her business in line with the commercial activities, are within the scope of the Message Management System.
The Recipients, on the other hand, will be able to check the approvals uploaded regarding themselves, from 01.09.2020 until the end of the November.
