480 NEWSLETTER 2016 Important Publications and Decisions regarding Privatization • The Competition Board (“Board”) authorized the privatiza- tion of Doğankent, Kürtün ve Torul Hydroelectric Power Plants of Elektrik Üretim A.Ş. and the lands allocated for use by these power plants, by way of “Granting Operational Rights.” (10.02.2016, 16-04/70-28) • The Board authorized the privatization of the immovable used by the Adıgüzel and Kemer Hydroelectric Power Plants of Elektrik Üretim A.Ş. by way of “granting operation rights.” (09.06.2016, 16-20/350-158) • The Board allowed the privatization through the “Transfer of Operating Rights” of Almus and Köklüce Hydroelectric Plants owned by Elektrik Üretim A.Ş. and the lands that the plant uses. (03.11.2016, 16-36/607-270) • The Board ruled that privatization process of Güllük Marina that is owned by the Turkish Maritime Organization is not subject to authorization.
